Getting details about an opportunity

There are a couple of main ways to get information about opportunities:

Opportunity Summary

To get a summary of an opportunity you can ask -

Format Example
"What's the latest on the {account_name} deal?" "What's the latest on the Globex deal"
"Give me a summary of {account_name} deal" "Give me a summary of the Globex deal"


Specific Details

If you are wanting to find out the value of a specific field in Salesforce for an opportunity, below is way to try phrasing the question in case you are having issues being understood:

Format Example
"What's the {field} of {account_name} deal?" "What's the probability of the Globex deal"


  • Tact finds opportunities based on the account name that they belong to, not the opportunity name
  • Tact supports only standard fields in Salesforce
  • Use capital letters for account names to ensure matching


Updating Opportunities

Keeping opportunities up to date can be done quickly.

Format Example
"Move the {account_name} opportunity to {stage_name}" "Move the Globex deal to proposal stage"
"Change the {field} to {new_value} for the {account_name} deal" "Change the probability to 90% for the Globex deal"
