You can connect your Exchange email to Tact with our Autodiscover feature or manually configure it. We outline both methods here. Before connecting, you might want to check with your Exchange administrator to see if Exchange Autodiscover is enabled. If Autodiscover is enabled, simply follow the Connecting with Autodiscover instructions below.
If your Exchange administrator has not enabled Autodiscover, you will need to manually enter the settings for your Exchange server. Scroll down to follow the "Connect to Exchange Manually" instructions.
Connecting with Autodiscover:
If your Exchange Admin has enabled Autodiscover, you simply need to submit your email address and password to configure Exchange.
1. Open the Tact App and go the 'Settings' Section under the More Tab
2. Select 'Data Sources'
3. Select Exchange under Remote Sources
4. Enter your email address and password in the fields marked in red and hit submit
3. Once you've successfully connected Exchange to Tact you should see the 'Connected' check as seen below:
Connect to Exchange Manually:
1. Open the Tact App and go the 'Settings' Section under the More Tab
2. Select 'Data Sources' and you will see a list of Sources you can connect to Tact
3. Select Exchange under Remote Sources
4. You will see an option to enter your Email and Password. Enter your email and password and Select 'Show All Fields'
5. On the 'Show All Fields' page, fill in each required field and tap Submit or Send. You will need your Exchange server address. If you've connected Exchange to your iPhone Mail app, you can find the your Exchange server in Settings.
Finding Exchange Server:
iOS 11
Go to iPhone Settings > Accounts & Passwords > your Exchange account > Account > Server
iOS 10 or older
Go to iPhone Settings > Mail > your Exchange account > Account > Server
Copy the server address and add it to the 'Server' field. If there is a domain listed, you should also include it.
Once you've successfully connected Exchange to Tact you should see the 'Connected' check as seen below:
