Why am I seeing duplicate contacts or accounts

Contacts in your Tact account are deduplicated except when the contacts are associated with different accounts. Accounts from Salesforce and your device are not deduplicated. There's usually not enough fields to reliably match account records. So if duplicate accounts becomes an issue for you, we recommend:

  1. Only syncing your Salesforce contacts and accounts to Tact
  2. Only storing account records in Salesforce and not your device
