Sales contacts emerge from various sources. Here are some ways to manage your contacts with Tact.
Open Tact
- Go to the Contacts tab
- Tap the "+" icon at the top right and select "New Contact"
- To sync this contact to Salesforce make sure that the "Share with Salesforce" button is toggled on
- You can also add a new contact by using the Tact "business card scanner"
- Find the instructions for scanning business cards here
- Tap "Scan Business Card" at the top of your new contact form
- Scan the card and Tact automatically takes a photo of the business card and extract the essential information
- The Tact assistant will highlight in red any information that may need to be double-checked
- If a field is missing or needs to be changed, simply tap on it and edit in-line.

- You can add Notes to a contact by tapping on the section labeled "Contact Notes"
- The notes feature makes it possible to capture the context of why this is an important contact.
- Tap "Save" in the upper right-hand corner of the app when you're done
- Tap the "+" icon at the top right and select "New Contact"
