Tact uses smart prompts to help you log critical information in the golden five minutes after a customer interaction. Sales flow prompts appear after you make a call or log an activity to Salesforce. Tap on any of the options to capture the information most important to you from that call and log it to Salesforce. For information on logging activities related to events, see this article about the Notification tab.
Select any action here and you'll be able to create a Log, Task, or Note and sync them to Salesforce.
Log a Call
After making a call from Tact you'll notice a prompt to log the details of the call. Here are the steps on how to do this:
1. Make a call from Tact
2. Tap on "Log" from the prompt
3. Enter the Salesforce Log details and tap on "Save"
Create a Task from a call
details After making a call from Tact you'll notice a prompt to create a task for the call. Here are the steps on how to do this:
- Tap on "Task"
- Enter task details then tap "Save"
Create a Task after Logging a Call
After logging a call to Salesforce from Tact you will see a prompt titled "Log Added" that says "What would you like to do next" and a button to create a task.
1. Tap on "Task"
2. Enter details for a task and tap on "Save"
Log an email or create a task from email
After sending an email from Tact you'll notice a prompt to log the email or create a task to Salesforce.
- Tap on "Log" or "Task" on the prompt
- Enter all appropriate details then tap "Save"
Create a Task, Next Step or Edit Logged Activity after creating an event
After logging an event to Salesforce from Tact you'll will be able to create a Task or Next Step or Edit any Logged Activity for the event.
- Open the event, tap on the Pin menu icon at bottom
- Choose the action, fill in all appropriate details then tap Save
