Assistant allows you to access your recently viewed Salesforce reports and create ad hoc reports from Salesforce data. Request a report from the Assistant and you’ll get detailed report data in excel. If the report has visual chart associated with it, Assistant will provide that as well.
How does Tact Reporting work?
Simply ask Tact to fetch you an existing Salesforce report or ask for an ad hoc report on the fly.
For Ad hoc reports - request custom reports from Salesforce data
For example:
- "What's the total amount of deals closing this quarter?"
- “What’s the total amount of deals closing by stage this quarter?”
For Salesforce reports - request recently viewed reports from Salesforce
For example:
- “Get my Q3 funnel report.”
What if I don’t know the full name of the report?
Tact is able to look up your existing reports based on one word. For example, if you ask for the “Q3” report and you have more than one report with Q3 in the title, Tact will return a list of reports with that keyword. Choose any number in that list and if there is a chart associated with it, Tact will return that chart.
Can I make changes to an existing Salesforce report?
- You can request an ad hoc report, but at the moment there is no way to modify an existing Salesforce report from Tact assistant.
Can I save an ad hoc report to salesforce?
